Joe Samba, born Joseph Sambataro, is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and guitarist hailing from Massachusetts. Raised in a musically inclined family, his father played bass in a local funk band, and his two older brothers also pursued music. This rich musical environment nurtured Joe's passion from a young age. At seven, he made his stage debut, performing James Brown's "I Feel Good," leaving the audience in awe and setting the course for his future in music. During his teenage years, Joe explored various musical genres, including metal, and even performed at the Boston date of the Warped Tour with his metal band.
However, his affinity for reggae and rock led him to develop a unique sound that blends island grooves, punk energy, hip-hop flair, and soulful songwriting. This fusion has become his signature style, resonating with a diverse audience. In 2019, Joe released his debut album, "The Wrong Impression," which soared to the number one spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart.
