Scott Woodruff, the creative force behind Stick Figure, was born and raised in Duxbury, Massachusetts. In 2006, Woodruff introduced Stick Figure as a solo project, releasing his debut album, "The Sound of My Addiction." The following years saw the release of "Burnin' Ocean" (2008) and "Smoke Stack" (2009), each further refining his blend of roots reggae and dub influences.

In 2012, the release of "Burial Ground" marked a significant milestone, achieving the number one spot on both iTunes and Billboard Reggae charts. This success prompted Woodruff to assemble a live band, transitioning Stick Figure from a solo studio project to a dynamic touring act.
